Specialties

Root-Cause Medicine.
Mindful Support.
Deeply Personal Healing.

At My Mindful Medicine, I specialize in helping individuals who are navigating complex transitions — whether that’s moving beyond the battlefield, stepping out of elite athletics, or living with chronic, unexplained illness. Each of these experiences requires not just clinical insight, but personal understanding, deep presence, and a care plan as unique as the individual.

My Approach Combines:

  • Honoring your body, mind, and spirit

  • Longer appointment times to allow for sacred listening and honoring your story

  • Functional Medicine (lab-driven, systems biology)

  • Mindfulness and meditation for emotional and nervous system regulation

  • Personalized lifestyle medicine (nutrition, sleep, stress, relationships, and movement)

  • Trauma-informed care and compassionate coaching

  • Custom guided meditations and somatic practices

  • Teaching the power of visualization and nurturing the mind as our ally

Healing is never just physical. Whether you're seeking clarity, connection, or capacity to thrive, my work meets you at the intersection of science and soul.

Veterans + Military Service Members

As an Army veteran and former deployed PA, I understand the invisible weight of service — the stress, identity shifts, physical wear, and emotional complexity that can linger long after active duty ends. I work with veterans who feel unseen by traditional systems, combining root-cause functional medicine with trauma-informed care and nervous system support. Together, we restore energy, balance, and a renewed sense of purpose.

  • Military service leaves an imprint—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Many veterans navigate life after service with invisible wounds, chronic health issues, and identity loss. At My Mindful Medicine, I bring a deep understanding as a fellow veteran, offering a space where your story is honored and your healing is individualized. I know the culture, the silence, and the strength it takes to ask for support.

  • Through a systems-based lens, I explore how service-related exposures, stress, sleep disruption, gut dysfunction, and hormonal imbalance may contribute to chronic symptoms. We work together to build a complete health timeline, identify root causes, and create a personalized wellness plan. Lab testing may include gut health panels, toxin screenings, hormone analysis, and nutritional status—always tailored to your story.

  • The same discipline that served you in uniform can be redirected inward. In our work, we cultivate mindfulness practices that support nervous system regulation, emotional clarity, and post-traumatic growth. I offer guided meditations, breathwork, and compassion-based tools that help you meet physical pain, moral injury, and anxiety with awareness, strength, and grace.

Retired Elite + Collegiate Athletes

I was an Olympic alternate, NCAA All-American, and national champion. I also know what it feels like when the arena goes quiet — when your body changes, your identity shifts, and you're left wondering what's next. I help athletes transition from high performance to whole-person wellness using advanced functional medicine, guided mindfulness, and tools for rediscovering meaning, motivation, and health beyond sport.

  • Retirement from elite athletics can bring grief, identity loss, and uncertainty. I understand this firsthand. We explore your story—what sport meant to you, what it cost, and what’s next. Together, we rebuild health, restore purpose, and reconnect you with your values in this next chapter.

  • Years of high-level training can leave lingering effects—gut issues, hormonal imbalance, chronic pain, and fatigue. Functional medicine helps us assess these root causes with advanced testing and integrative solutions. We use nutrition, movement, sleep optimization, and supplementation to restore your vitality.

  • The drive for perfection and performance often masks anxiety, burnout, and emotional exhaustion. In our mindfulness sessions, we work on nervous system regulation, self-compassion, and letting go of harmful narratives. This is a space to rediscover joy, peace, and who you are by integrating your athletic experiences into your life beyond performance.

Chronic Illness Warriors

Whether you’ve been diagnosed with a condition like autoimmune disease, chronic fatigue, long COVID, or have symptoms that no one has been able to explain — you're not alone. I bring a systems-based approach to help uncover the root causes of inflammation, fatigue, and dysfunction, with compassion and curiosity guiding the process. Together, we build a healing path that works with your body, not against it.

  • If you’ve been dismissed, misdiagnosed, or overwhelmed by symptoms, you’re not alone. I have walked this path for over a decade and have learned so much along the way. We begin with listening—really listening—to your story. Using your health history and life timeline, we uncover patterns that illuminate your unique healing path.

  • Functional medicine goes beyond symptom management to identify the biological systems involved—digestion, detoxification, mitochondrial health, immune balance, and more. Your plan is personal, flexible, and rooted in scientific insight and compassion.

For many with complex, chronic illness, our systems are depleted. We will take the “low and slow” approach, ensuring your body isn’t taxed beyond what it is capable of handling. We honor your process and trust your timeline of healing.

  • Living with chronic illness can feel isolating. In our sessions, we create stillness, safety, and connection. You’ll learn mindfulness tools to shift your relationship to pain, reduce stress, and strengthen the mind-body relationship. These practices bring calm, clarity, and hope to even the most difficult moments.
